2 AOD Notice Board

Hi All..
It would be remiss of me not to post the first entry to our new "Notice Board", which I believe is quite a touch more user friendly and will allow very good communication and information links for us all..
Since our new website was launched on the 26th of March 2008 it has been very much evident, the existence of a very strong camaraderie bond among our own unit veteran community..

Mates have re-surfaced from all the corners of Australia and in a couple of cases, off our local shores and around the world..

Information has been shared, mateships re-kindled and new ones formed..
The Spirit of a Band of Brothers...

I would also like to take this opportunity in giving thanks to so many who have contributed.. Every tiny thing has been a god send in this time of brain-straining.. very much appreciated..

Thank you to all..
Heinzie

Enjoy this new tool of technology for saying gidday to some of your mates.. Life is getting easier.. Post in a photo.. add a video.. or just a quick note to say good-day..
There are many of us out there.. and some of us very alone.. Share what you are doing.. Tell us how the health is going or what help you, or someone else might need..
Here is the opportunity to send someone a cheer of rainbow and a touch of laughter..

There is a lot of support available to the Veteran Community and their families..
This is a great place to pop in a note.. sharing relevant info among us all..

and of course
Just another great way to enjoy a bit of time to shoot the breeze..

Spirits up all &

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE..

Dear all, below is a message I received today and wish to pass on. I hope you’ll feel the need to pass it on, too.

A Member of the VVMC has fallen on tough times. If there is anything anyone can do to help, hit the VVMCQld website and contact the guys. The uTube story is self explanatory/ Both uTube and VVMC links are below.

Subject: Help

G'day

As you may have heard, one of our blokes came to grief in America. He is not only a biker but a Vietnam Veteran and we are raffling a custom built Harley as a fundraiser for him.

We have full details on our website www.qldvvmc.com and have managed to get a news interest story on local television - and, in turn, had that vision posted on You Tube http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=KvePlyhs9V8

Any chance of you passing it onto your contacts. We would really like to help Skip out.

Thanking you in anticipation.
